WHFC is a charter standard approved club, and has a safe guarding policy in guidelines with the FA.

The club now has 12 representative age group teams ranging from under 6’s (mini kickers) with teams entering leagues at under 7s through to our current highest age group of under 14s.

The club has seen many players progress to the AFCB Academy and other local Academies which is testament to the hard work of the players and coaches alike.

The ethos of the club is development of players both male and female in a safe, friendly environment working together with our partners and stakeholders we hope to put together a club that we can all be proud of.

Our long term aim is to establish the club as Dorset’s premier youth set up with strong ties to the county and senior clubs to allow a progression from youth to senior.

A more details club policy will be available, but in summary, it is our wish to run the club as professional as possible with the best practices taken from academy, centre of excellence’s, parents are encouraged to be supportive whilst allowing coaches to coach, managers to manage.

All opponent teams should be treated with respect and made to feel welcome a club style of play with the focus on getting players to feel comfortable on the ball in all areas of the pitch.

Financially the aim is to collect sufficient money to cover all playing cost and a reserve to cover the costs of the following season’s registration costs, we aim to keep running costs as low as possible.

Where possible we aim to coach teams together ensuring best use of senior coaches, sessions will be based on ball control, awareness, ball retention letting the game be the teacher.
